  • What did man lose when he fell in the garden?

I was asked this question on Sunday by one of our church people.

    My thoughts were this.........

Certainly man lost his innocence and the wonder of living in the garden.

The most devastating thing that he lost, I think was that precious unhindered fellowship with the Father.

Adam walked with God, he shared God's heart, he was able to share his own thoughts and feelings with God just like we can with a friend here.

There was nothing in between him and God, only a wonderful friendship that was so relaxed and easy.

I think that is saddest thing that we lost.  Now we have so much baggage, distractions between us and Him.

True we can have fellowship with God if we take the time to be with Him, but that is not the same as walking and talking with Him face to face.

What are  your thoughts on this subject?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I would have to agree with you, the fellowship face to face.  What an awesome thought.  How wonderful it is to sit in His presence when we get alone with Him now, but face to face. What a day we have to look forward to as I  believe after this life, we will behold Him and fellowship with Him as Adam and Eve in the beginning.  Wonderful post.
